Totoka Lodge is my sons favourite place to be. He has been participating in weekly equine therapy sessions for nearly 6 months and is on the countdown all week until his session - it’s definitely his happy place! The change I’ve seen in him particularly in terms of his confidence has been amazing. They are always so welcoming, encouraging, and really support him to challenge himself where and when he feels able. I highly recommend Paula and her team (including the wonderful horses and welcoming staff) to anyone looking for equine therapy.

My favourite place to be! Incredible people and incredible horses to be surrounded with. I came with a horse that was educated, but Paula helped me gain control as well as a huge trusting connection with my horse. Totoka Lodge is one of the best things that has ever happened to me, and i'll never stop learning here! Featured in the photos below is one of my favourite Lodge horses- Possum. Highly recommend; what Paula does for people is just unbelievable and so kind!

This place is my daughter’s favourite! She is so calm and happy when she is there. The staff are so friendly, I thought they were one big family (but they are not related) the energy here is just what she needs and the horses here are just gorgeous. My daughter loves them and talks about her horses everyday. She has become more confident and just loves being part of this place. We just love being there.

Its real not plastic if you got what I mean. Given from the heart, personalised, out of the box, go beyond expectations what else I could say. Out of text books where text books always being the bible for riding school. A place where people share their thoughts humbly. It may be look western from the outside but being an English Rider and a qualified EA coach but its never stop me to observed and learnt heaps from Paula to complete the puzzle. Most important this place is more than value of money and it's a place where money can't buy. Nothing can't be wrong. See it for yourself ❤️ !!!

Totoka has been a fantastic find for us. Nothing is too much trouble, all the staff are so welcoming and friendly, we are treated like family! The equine therapy sessions have helped my child create strong bonds with the horses, learn & experience skills in caring for them, as well as learning to ride in a safe and supportive environment. Equine therapy sessions at Totoka have been of greater benefit for us than psychology/counselling. Great for emotional regulation, a real calming experience, maybe even a similar effect to anti-anxiety medications! Thanks everyone at Totoka - can't recommend them more.
