​To All Our Amazing Clients!
We have consulted with all relevant parties, including the NDIA, to understand how these
changes may impact Totoka Lodge. Rest assured the current changes DO NOT affect your time
with us.
In accordance with NDIS guidelines, your time at Totoka Lodge is classified as a ‘recreational
activity’ and is funded through the Social and Community Participation Line Item in your Core
Budget.
If your plan manager is declining to approve this activity, please notify us as soon as possible,
and we will assist you with the process.
Totoka Lodge provides Adaptive Riding and Natural Horsemanship services, benefiting NDIS participants in enjoying a social experience in a natural environment to develop key life skills in accordance with their NDIS goals. Totoka Lodge also assists private clients develop their horsemanship skills.
At Totoka Lodge, we offer secure, encouraging, and partially structured sessions, acknowledging the uniqueness of each individual and customizing sessions to suit each client's requirements. Horses possess a remarkable capacity to assist individuals with physical, psychological, and developmental challenges, and we have witnessed numerous lives transformed by the incredible impact of our horses.
